you once said that we should not be overly concerned about our food and clothes,
and here you are stripped to stand naked before us.
You who own the whole universe, stands poor and stripped of even your dignity.
Yet you are immeasurably rich, since you possess the Father’s love.
Here and now I give you all that I possess and all that I am.
Strip me of any craving for prestige, wealth and status.
Enable me to feel solidarity with all of humanity.
Forgive me for any part I may have had in the stripping of another person of their dignity and self-worth.
Heal me from my lustful and immodest thoughts and actions,
that I may give to each person the reverence and love due to them as created in your image.
