31 Years of Art
Creator Mundi, a gallery of distinctive sacred art and gifts, celebrates its 31st Anniversary as a small woman-owned business in Denver.
Hildegard Letbetter, founder, and the owner started Creator Mundi in her guest house in the fall of 1987 with just a couple of beautiful cast bronze pieces from Germany. After a few years in Littleton, she moved to a gallery on Third Avenue in Cherry Creek for 18 years. Creator Mundi is now in Englewood, from where Hildegard runs a boutique gift shop and a small enterprise online. “It wasn’t always easy to weather the ups and downs of the economy as a small business,” she says. “But sacred art and meaningful symbols are my mission, so I stuck with it and am thrilled to celebrate this milestone!”
Creator Mundi seeks to help celebrate life’s special events and create sacred spaces by providing unique, inspiring art and gifts of the highest quality to individuals, churches, hospitals and educational institutions all over the US. All our pieces are made in European and US studios by excellent artists and craftsmen. We also showcase the work of a number of well-known local artists in the Creator Mundi Gallery.
