Product Description
This is our beautiful Archangel Gabriel Giclee. The angel Gabriel is mentioned by name twice in the New Testament. Gabriel (in Hebrew גַּבְרִיאֵל) means “God is my strength.” Gabriel is the angel who spoke to Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist (Luke 1:5-25), as well as the angel of the Annunciation to Mary (Luke 1:26-38).
Religious Art for the Wall
This Giclee measures about 9.5 x 7 inches and is created by a Colorado artist. It is a beautiful work of religious art to display on a wall in your home, office or worship space.
Archangel Gabriel
An “archangel” in Greek is literally a “chief angel,” an angel of higher rank. The New Testament uses the title “archangel” explicitly only for Michael (Jude 1:9). Yet in Roman Catholic tradition, both Gabriel and Raphael are archangels as well. The Feast of the Archangels Gabriel, Michael and Raphael is on September 29th. This solid bronze plaque is the perfect gift for a birthday, name day, or confirmation.
