The serenity which the Holy Family savored on Christmas morning was fleeting. Soon the Holy Family were refugees fleeing their homeland in fear for their baby’s life. They lived as “undocumented immigrants” in a foreign land until it was safe for them to return to their home. Back in Nazareth, they entered back into the humdrum and predictability of daily life in a small town.
