A Dolomite Crèche – from Europe with Love (and Hope and Faith)
The Shepherd in Rapture is 3.9 inches high. All 15 pieces of the complete nativity set are made from dolomite stone and resin and then hand-finished by monastic sisters in Europe. Through a division of labor, each sister, while in contemplative prayer, focuses on one specific task to be done to complete each crèche piece. The finished crèche piece is truly a labor of love (and hope and faith)!
