Perhaps your chapel, parish church, or cathedral is considering commissioning the same Papal Crucifix as well!
Used by Five Popes and seen by Billions worldwide for over 50 Years
Pope Paul VI commissioned Lello Scorzelli (1921-1997) to create this crucifix. Pope Paul VI first used it – mounted on the top of his pastoral staff – at the closing of the Second Vatican Council on December 8, 1965. All the Popes since then (Pope John Paul I, Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis) have been seen holding this crucifix by billions of Catholics and non-Catholics worldwide.
