A “Crucified High Priest” is an obvious contradiction in terms. A high priest is called to offer sacrifices on behalf of the people, not to be himself crucified and killed! Christ the High Priest offered up himself on the altar (the wood of his cross) to be crucified and killed, to be sacrificed.
