The Last Supper in the Upper Room
On the night before he died, Jesus celebrated the Passover (the Feast of Unleavened Bread) one last time in an “upper room” (Luke 22:12). This solid bronze cross depicts the events of that night compactly and powerfully: Jesus blessing the bread and cup, eleven of the disciples in rapt attention, and (in the bottom left corner of the cross) the twelfth disciple, Judas, clutching his bag of money. This Last Supper Cross is the perfect gift for anyone who partakes of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist, in remembrance of Him.
Translation: “Do you believe in God, the Almighty Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth? Yes, I believe. Do you believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord, who became a human being and suffered for us? Yes, I believe. Do you believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy, catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting? Yes, I believe.”
