The Donkey – A True Labor of Love, Faith, and Hope
The Donkey is 3.2 inches high and made of dolomite stone and resin. The nuns work on each piece by hand in the atelier of their monastery in Western Europe. Each nun prayerfully takes on her assigned task as her contribution to the finalization of each piece. Because of where, how, and by whom these pieces are created, the Nativity Dolomite White Series is very much ”culturally authentic”. This is indeed a true labor of love, faith and hope!
