From Europe with Love (and Hope and Faith) – A Dolomite Crèche
The Infant Jesus is 3 inches long. This and each piece of the other 14 pieces is composed of dolomite stone and resin, and then individually hand-finished in a monastic community of sisters in Western Europe. Through a division of labor, each sister of the monastic community, while praying contemplatively, completes her specific assigned task to be done for each crèche piece. How can each finished piece of this nativity set be anything but a labor of love (and hope and faith)!
