Jesus could now die, knowing that his mother was in good hands and that his disciple would now have a mother to console him in his grief. Jesus was thinking of others even as he was dying an agonizing death. Whether we are close to death or in the full bloom of life, we too are called to be mindful of others, our parents, our children, our dear friends, and those who need our help.

This Mary and John and Jesus Crucifix marks the beginning of our Holy Church. It is excellently crafted and must be seen to be appreciated. I recommend this for anyone touched by this Good Friday scene as I am. This is a Crucifix that I would recommend for any Church as well. This French group makes very captivating crosses and pendants.
